It was initially meant to be part of an all oral, interferon free drug combination.
It won't be used alone, it will be paired with another oral drug. My nurse mentioned though, that it may be used in a clinical study configured with interferon for 12 wks.)
GS 7977 is an oral drug currently in trials, it is being tried in several different configurations with several different drugs.
