Got my #, but the County insurance turned me down.

by MCN, May 30, 2002 12:00AM
It's been a while since I have checked the site or posted anything.  There was nothing new going on and I was just trying to forget about the HepC.  Well about 4 weeks ago I got my assurance number to start Peg-intron.  I was just told by my G.I. that the County now longer pays for treatment.  I live in Milwaukee County in WI. Where the County government was over-turned by recall election and the Feds bringing charges on some people for a pension deal that is costing the County millions.  So I guess they have to cut back somewhere.  Does anybody know of any programs that help out a guy down on his luck?  I'm a full time student at UWM-Milwaukee.  I have only one more semester to go and I start my clincals.  If anybody has any ideas or suggestions I'll check back or you can email me directly at ***@****
Thanks!!
