HBV vaccination sx's.

I just had my HepB vaccination at the end of August and I've had a couple of days where I was even more exhausted than normal.  Also, there have been a couple other things, like a couple headaches, I never get those and even a positive sx in that I didn't break out with my normal neurodermitis, which has been very welcome.  Sometimes it's hard with HepC to determine what is imagined and what is real and not everything is related to HepC.  Did anyone have any sx's related to their HBV vaccination prior to HepC tx?  thanks

I'm due for my second jab on the 25th of this month, so I decided I'm gonna make note in my journal.  Not the journal online, as I won't touch that one till I actually start tx, but I have a writing journal.  I haven't written in it since the last time I stopped methadone maintenance, I think that was in 1995.  I won't be sure about the date until I pull it out of the nightstand.  I learned about journal writing in rehab and when I was detoxing it seemed to help me alot b/c I would write from start to finish and then reflect,  Detoxing   was once a terrible insanity for me.  There's nobody like that on here, is there?  lol  Anyways, I didn't need the HepA vaccine b/c I had been infected with that when I was about 16 or 17 and it kept me out of school for around two months.  It really kicked my butt, glad I had my weed to help me thru.  lol  That was the old days and I don't smoke anymore, herb that is.  later

It was quite subtle but I noticed that I was 'off' for about 2 weeks after each HBV jab.  I was more sweaty and just more out of it both physically and mentally.  That is what I would expect if the hepC was affecting me, so maybe it was a case of the combination of hepC and the vaccine getting on top of my immune system more than usual.

Depending on your WBC count if your TX should determine if you should get the HEP B and Hep A viccine. My doctor wont let me take either at this time because of my WBC which is 2.0 she said i had to wait till my WBC came back up. Effie

Hello fret, I just got first Hep B vac on August 8th, along with Hep A, Pneumonia, Tetanus and Diptheria.

Other than a little soreness in both arms the next day, I didn't particularly feel bad at all.  I suffer from chronic back pain however, and it pretty much rules the day as far as what the brain can perceive....   Kind of like a bad accident, if you break your leg, you might not notice the deep gash your arm.  :-)

First shot for HCV was 3 hours ago, and so far, still just the backache.  lol  Take care, and good luck!

I always have reactions to any kind of vaccinations... It takes me about three days to feel normal again for me. I feel like I a getting the flu, slight chills and tired. Sometimes I even have to lie in bed for a day.
