HCV and anti-histamin

I am suffering from alergies (allergies) from time to time, just a sort of bad feelings. I use to take 1 pill of anti-histamin when I have these feelings (those are feelings of uncomfort, eyes itching sometimes, voice become weak, etc ..)
Just wonder if it is ok to take this pill since my biopsy from last weeks said stage 2-3 and I am before interferon therapy.

Any advice will be appericiated.

I would go ahead since you haven't started tx.
I would even think it would be fine while being on tx,but Do tell your Dr. of your problem.
Some meds can be harmful while on treatment.
I mean if you have a real problem with hayfever, The heart thing to think about.
provided you'll be taking something like clairitin daily.
You know what I mean?

Of course I'm not a DR., But I did have mine tell me I could contine my meds outside of tx.

I'd check with my doc first...Based on info you've provided....Some antihistamines may not be compatible with your liver probs.....See I don't know if your doc knew about your stages of liver disease....And I don't know if these are OTC antihistamines.

I don't know for sure what you're  were taking, but I was precribed anti-histimes before and during tx. It's sad to have to worry about everything, but I know you want to be safe and do what's best for your liver. Maybe you can google drugs to avoid with hep c?
