Hi there it sounds as if you have had exposure to the virus but cleared it instead of becoming chronic. When testing for Hep c the RNA test is most important and on that one you are negative.I would  relax, what did your physician say ?

Thanks for the reply
the physician consulted the liver and the infection specialist and they recommended no more testing to be done. But my concern is that RNA is a quantitative one.

Some people do clear the virus naturally and you are probably one of the lucky ones ! You are obviously below the limit of detection on the PCR test-this is now a sensitive test, not sure what its limits are but I think you should accept that you are negative for the virus and not worry unnecessarily.

It looks like you are one of the 15-35% of people who clear the virus on their own.

You will always have antibodies, even if you clear the disease naturally or through medical treatment.
