Hepc only can be caught by blood to blood transmission.

Although sexual transmission is rare it can happen.  Most monogamous couples live their entires lives without it happening.  It's best to use safeR sex practices and be careful where applicable. My children have used my razors and toothbrush many many times in their lives and both were negative.

My husband had hep since the early 80s and I don't believe I was infected that way but in truth I could have been. Still it's not very likely.
