what i think is the viral load has nothing to do with your pain but i would get it checked out with an ultrasound or cat scan. the pain on the left could be from your spleen and the right side from liver, these are affected from HCV. also gall bladder can cause right sided pain along with other things. i would see a hepatologist or at least a GI if you are not already. best of luck

We all have the tendency to blame every pain on hep c.  It could be a 100 different things,  Don't junp to conclusions.

Are u taking Milk Thistle ?

In my case I can definteley say that lot of pains and discomfot just disappear since I am using Milk Thistle.

Also hepa docs recommends today Milk Thistle.
Still I don't bealive that Milk Thistle eliminate the virus, it just helps somehow and considered as safe.

wish you will feel better.

I agree with most of your anatomy but actually the liver crosses over and the tip is onthe left side. Someone, I think Mike Simon pointed this out to me and I looked it up in an old anatomy book to prove I was right. Actually, I was wrong as usual!
Kwp: I think it's not unsual to have pain in those areas, I have felt that myself. Actually, my viral load is und now, and I still get pain in both areas. It could be something I ate or it could be the capsule that surrounds my liver. Only a dr and further testing would be able to let you know for sure what's causing the pain.
