Please go get tested so you can make the appropriate decisions no matter what the results.  I know it can be very scary to wait for the results, but whatever they are, you need to respond appropriately.  Hopefully, the results will be negative and you can rest comfortably.

One problem with research on the 'Net with such a vague symptom of fatigue is it is going to give you all kinds of possible causes and then you are going to sit around and worry about what it might be.  Worry causes fatigue.  You are in a vicious circle.

Once you get tested, you will know what you have to deal with and can move on from there.

The very best of luck to you and come back and let us know how you are doing.

just trying to figure out why i am so damn tired all the time. everyone says i shouldnt be this tired so i looked  up fatique on the internet and all it says is that fatique is a symptom of anemia, hiv and hepatitis.
i'll just go and get tested.

One of my doctors told me that on the sheet that you mark for 'eymptoms of not feeling well' or past history of illness or surgerys........you know that sheet ......  well he said that no matter what the patient comes to see him for that everyone and everytime the FATIGUE box is checked off.  'do you suffer with FATIGUE..................the box is marked "YES".

The internet search that you did on FATIGUE and the response due to HIV, HCV, anemia is just plain ****.  The search is too broad and the word FATIGUE is too broad.

Just get checked for HIV or anything else that you want to know.  Ease your mind ! An HIV test is different and a separate test from the HCV test.

`dtr.

Hi there. It is pretty standard for your doctor to do a test for HIV if you have tested positive for the HCV virus.  Usually it is a separate test in itself and takes a couple of days to come back.  I just had one myself and it was negative (yeah).   However, I still tested positive for Hep C.  Hang in there.  It is all mind boggling, but you have come to a wonderful site.  The people here are helpful, honest, caring and kind.
