No cirrhosis, and I just take two when I take them. Today I'm trying to pound the water down and so far so good, so maybe that was it. I also workout so I need even more water than normal. Thanks
Hey there! I am sorry to hear about your head aches. I have heard they can be pretty bad. When I had them I would first try tylenol, if that didn't work I too would use Advil. Of course you can always ask your doctor but my doctor told me that once the HCV was not attacking my liver 24/7 that it was safe to take a low dose for my back pain.
I'm sorry I can't remember your status, If you have cirrhosis then I would be very careful. I agree drinking water can really help with the aches and pains as well as helping your liver.
Take care, Dee
Hey 48~
I too had headaches(some nasty) but they have abated, end of week 4. Water water water for sure. For me, there was a correlation with spike & blood pressure(usually very low) 151/92 tonight, but I'm with flu. I haven't taken anything for them, but if your GI tract is not a problem, think its fine. My hepa told me to take Tylenol, but I have gastro issues.
Sure hope your bad headaches go away soon!
Randy
Some say the headaches are from dehydration. It's that dull weird heavy headachey feeling in the back of the head and neck. Sip water to help it. It usually comes on an hour after taking the daily dose. That's a symptom of Solvadi as it happens to almost everyone who takes it. The tiredness is part of the tx. It should pass a few weeks after the end of treatment.
