Has anyone been on Hep C treatment like Harvoni while they have pancreatitis?

I just got out of the hospital last Wednesday for pancreatitis . I am concerned that I will have more problems getting through the treatment because of it .  I start treatment with Epclusa  tomorrow.  This is a brand-new drug that just came out the end of June for genotype 3a. It is made by the same company that makes Harvoni.   Has anyone been on any Hep C treatment with pancreatitis?

You shouldn't start treatment with a medication that can cause pancreatitis while you have pancreatitis.  I bet any doctor would tell you that.  Epclusa includes sofosbuvir which lists "pancreatitis" as a possible side effect.

Here's a study that says....
"There were 7 grade 3 events including anemia, neutropenia, nausea, hypophosphatemia, and cholelithiasis or pancreatitis."

You should ask your doctor but my guess is it should not be any more difficult that had you not had pancreatitis. But I am not a doctor or any type of medical professional,
