Help!

Im a 27 year old male. I had a severe constipation 8 month ago with a lower left abdomen pain. The doctor diagnosed me with ulcer after reviewing my x-ray. And mentioned my liver is a little swollen. But nothing to worry about. After couple month i started having major problem with constipation the lower abdomen and decided to see another doctor who suggested i should do colonoscopy and referred me to a GI specialist. Couple month later the GI put me on Miralax and started eating lot of fiber foods cut on spicy, acidic foods. No pains and daily normal bowel movement. The blood work again should a slight high points on the result.. should i be worried of any kind of hepatitis?? Please help

I had XRay taken earlier this year( feb) and the doctor mentioned a lil swollen of my liver. I had a poor diet for the past couple years and limited exercise. I gave blood to my GI doctor for Hep B & C test. Result should be out on Thursday. Will post it, thanks once again for your input.

have you had any radiology tests. CT, MRI, Etc. Sounds like you at least need a colonppscopy.  Lower left discomfort is usually something with the colon.  Good luck and keep us posted.

With your #'s still elevated I would see a Hepatologist

He took more blood yesterday for Hep B & C. The results should be out tomorrow. You have no idea how anxious i am to find out the results. But the confusing part is i dont drink alcohol/drugs but had a severe constipation for the past 8 month with Lower Left abdomen.

Your levels are elevated, yes but could be from a variety of things as Copyman said. Did your doctor tell you what else he's testing you for, since he asked for more blood?  I would get tested for Hepatitis, if only to be able to rest your mind on that one or address it if necessary.

from what you describe does not sound like hepatitis symptoms except if you meant your liver function blood test results were still "slightly high". If your liver function results remain high then you should find out why. many things can cause high LFT's such as alcohol, medications, fatty liver, chemicals, etc.
