Hep B shot during TX

I am doing my praticum for my BSW at an assisting living home for the elderly and i know that they give us Hep B shots and Flu shots ? I do not want to diclose my Hep C status or tratment will it be ok to have these? Thanks ffie

I just wanted you to know that after I was diagnosed with hep c, I was given vaccines for hep A and B, then after I started tx, I had a booster shot and I have one more to go.  It must be ok with my doc.

I know nothing about flu shots...

But I know that the doctors highly recommend to get the A and B shots if you are HCV positive. Also if you are on treatment.

u should also get vaccinated for pneumococcus(flu shot) bcoz a sick liver wont b able to fight it off.

its recommended for people above 50yrs. pneumovax is given only once and flu shot yearly

Ok, my doctor just calld and said i can not have the Hep A or B shot right now because my WBC count its at 2.0. He said lets wait and see what happens with that.  I wonder how low they let my WBC count get before rescue drugs. I will say that the rest of my blood work its ok everything that is expected the High and Low but nothing thats to worrisome to my Hepatologist. My HBG has stayed within range. Any suggestions? I am a full time student and work 2 jobs energy level ok but, i do have a cough that i have had for awhile and clear thick mucus that i am always spitting out, what do u think? Thanks Effie. I am Geno type 1a, Stage 1-2, was undected and 12 weeks became detected at 16 weeks again with a Vl of 23,500 at 20 weeks my Vl was 8,000 and my log has gone down so i dont know whats going to happen, its out of my control. my doctor is hoping for undected at 24 weeks My Alt and ASt have always been high in the two hundreds..
