Hep B immunity?

Hep B immunity?

Some years before I was diagnosed with hcv I was given 3 or 4 attempts at hep b boosters as a requirement for work but I was told at the time that the vaccine "would't take" and then eventually my GP told me it was more likely my age and that it was not going to "take". Dose anyone know if there is any truth in this and if so are we any more vulnerable. I recon I was 40ish at the time.

I also took the hep B series, and it didn't take:  I had no antibodies.  I did it during tx.  Now, post tx, I'm doing it again.

My doctor said she did it twice before it worked.

I was told not to have any vaccinations during tx as they would not "take". I don't really understand why.
