Hep C @ 5 months

Not a question but a statement. I began treatment on Dec. 24, 2007. My load was 2,165,000. I am currently taking Ribavirin and peginterferron. I take 5 ribavirin a day and a weekly injection. As of May 12, 2008, my load is less than 10. I was really surprised it dropped so quickly. Not complaining, just surprised. Oh, I've had some bad days along the way, but overall, it's been doable. I'm still not over the emotional upheaval, but am taking Wellbutrin and it seems to take the edge off. The usual dry mouth, breaking out  all over, nausea, and just being TIRED all the time, are the ones that bothered me the most. Well, I'll quit rambling and wish you all success in your treatment.

your enthusiasm is very encouraging. have you read much about the marinol or marijuana materials for taking the nausea out of the picture?

I'm afraid my G.I. doctor wouldnt warm to that idea. Almost had to beg for the pain meds. I smoke occaisionaly and it seems to work for a short time. Usually if I eat something BEFORE i start to get sick to my stomach it is no problem, but if I get to that point and dont eat, I'm usually sick all day. Thanks for the response.
