Hep C & Diabetes

Has anyone else been diagnosed with diabetes on the tail of Hep C and the Interferon/rebitol treatment? I lasted 5 months on treatment and was hospitalizedf for low potassium & sodium. ANY positive feedback would be greatly appreciated at this time! Thanks
