a 7 month neg puts you in the clear. Did you know Hcv is not considered a STD and is
only VERY rarely sexually transmitted? When sexual transmission does occur, it
is almost always male to female. You should consider getting the hep b vaccine.
Hep B is a classic STD and is easily transmitted by sex. Unfortunately, there is no
vaccine for Hep c.
The sex you describe has zero risk for Hep C. There has to be blood contact. You are negative, no need to retest.
Hi,
I had unprotected ORAL sex (i was the receipiant Male) but had Protected Vaginal sex 7 months ago!
HCV test 7 months after possible exposure came out NEGATIVE! I want to be convinced that these results are conclusive, considering the varying window periods you get to find about during research online! I have never fallen sick in this period, NO symptoms what so ever!
Could you please advise whether i should get tested again in future!
