Hep and breast problems

I am a 35 year old female recovering from drug and alcohol abuse for almost 5 years now.  I was diagnosed w/hep c about 5 and 1/2 years ago.  I have not sought out any consultation, until recently.  I began haveing irregular discharge of various green and black and clear and white from my breast.  All the test from thyroid, pitutary, to mamograms, have come back normal, (also pregnancy test was negative, I've had my tubes clamped for 9 years)  Still can not figure out why the breast discharge, my physician said liver problems could cause this.  How is the liver and the breast associated.  Could I lose my breast over this?  I know that may sound silly, but I am very scared about all of this.  Somebody please help!
