now back to sam elliott ROADHOUSE LOVE IT!!!!! he is so hot in that!
ok party's on!!! movie weekend, junk food come one and come all!!!
I'm sitting here cracking up... I've got tears in my eyes. So we fell for it again...
It makes me think of this woman I know here in DK. She used to call me almost every day and tell me the same **** over and over again. Always stirring around the same subjects and pointing out the same injustices her family and some ppl had done to her. After a while I realized that she was mentally and emotionally unbalanced. I had to ask her to stay away from me and my family. You want to help them, and then they slowly creep up into your life and your family, if you know what I mean... I couldn't help her, she needed a psychiatrist, but was in denial.
Marcia
is she the same as the MT one, who was giving us probs?
Yes, we know who Susan252 is. She has been here before using another name. The names have changed but the song remains the same.
I totally agree with you. I've always been into herbal, alternative, health food etc. But with this one... I am going the conventional way. As you are, i will will use alternative treatments once I have reached SVR, which I hope fully will.
Marcia
I know who Susan400 is but the other one is a mystery to me. She is rather engaging though. Mike
No worries! We know who you are, our Susan, and who the other susan is!
i am saying! Sam E is wayyyyyyyy nice and that voice, helllooooooooooo! In road House also, meeeooow!
My dear sister is an alternative meds/treatment guru. She became one because she didn't have health insurance and couldn't afford doctors. She has cured herself of everything from the flu to gallbladder stones and swears by her methods and she looks young (she looks younger than me and she isn't). She is a bit distressed with me about doing this treatment. She believes I can maintain good health with good diet and suppliments and herbs. I also believe that there are many herbal and nutritional products and remedies on the market that can help our bodies heal...but this disease is nothing to mess with. I will use the drugs to kill the virus then after it is gone, I will use the the alternative treatments to bring my body back to good health...Anyone reading these posts should carefully consider what this virus can do and rid yourself of it quickly with methods that work.
Isobella - that is my favorite part of the movie too.
Don't worry... We know who you are. You are one of the bravest ppl here on the forum.
Wishing you all the best with your current tx!
God bless,
Marcia
Sam Elliott now were talkin!!!!!!!! woooooooohoooooooooooo One of my favorites!
Just to clarify something, this IS a different Susan and NOT Susan400...., I just don't want there to be any mistake about that! I'm all for usually M.D. recommended treatments and have found no success with my long history of trying to clear, w/any of the alternatives. Believe me, once when I was off of treatment, a girl I knew swore up and down, right and left that if I drank this herbal tea that it would 'cure' me of Hep C and that I HAD to drink it fasting to start and then, 3 times a day. It tasted horrible the first time I ever put it to my lips and I said thanks but no thanks, not interested. She was mad at me and stopped having anything to do with me. Another friend told me off on-line because she said that I was wasting my time on doctors and that she had the cure with the Chinese methods. She quit being a friend, too (her choice) and stopped contacting me on line. Milk thistle makes me have a flare-up of my otherwise 'mild' asthma, so it's a NO on milk thistle as well.
Always,
SUSAN400
OOOOH, Sam Elliot - good one.
Deb definetely cake and pops, i like ice cream floats, it helps with the sores in my mouth!!!
Ny Deb Sam elliotti in Mask as Cher's biker bf ~ love him in that!
One other thing, all of us were new commers and some point, we all wanted to be accepted or heard. Most of realize that the world didn't stop when we entered the picture, Most of us don't buy the alternative route. because statistics show us they do not work, OR ALL OF US WOULD BE ON THEM.
I have always found the best way to make friends is to be a friend.
Most of us are treating now, a few that have svred have stayed to help us, even the us who have treated before, you said you tried inteferon, this is time three for me and lots of others.
So please Susan, what you see as a clique, many of us see as a support system.
which is a 100% NOT selfish based.
Best wishes on your journey
Wow! glad SOMEONE noticed how elite we are! I never seen it either Rita
We will need refreshments, Cake, popcycles, all the good stuff.
Suprchicks always like a good movie and snacks!
Deb
Whoa...where have I been all day to have missed this post about my favorite movie! May I please join the party of elite clickin clique huckleberry heppers.
I love that part where Val Kilmer does that gun slinging thing with the shot glasses.
throwin a party..
" you're a daisy if you do"
deb... you dont ever need an invite!!!!
I used to have SUCH a crush on Michael Biehn (can't believe I didn't list him!) He was so cool as Johnny Ringo - then he went and lost his career somehow and last I saw he was reduced to being in some movie on the Sci-Fi channel.....I couldn't believe it!
And I must have watched Bill Paxton in every movie he's ever been - I used to sort my DVD collection by 'actor' not by title or genre.
And Kurt Russell? Dear Lord that Goldie Hawn did something right in a previous life!
Sam Elliott is one for the AGES - he's been "the" hot cowboy for as long back as I can remember watching cowboy movies!
Need I go on or can I be invited too??????????????????????
ok party at my house!!! Tombstone Man Candy is ok with me...love Kurt Russell and Sam Elliott like the others too!!!
Tombstone party at Rita's this weekend. See ya there!
Oh Rita you can't have forgotten it because the cast is like: Kurt Russell, Val Kilmer (when he was still young and hot), Bill Paxton, Sam Elliot, Charleton Heston, Jason Priestly, the dark haired guy from Titanic (can't remember his name but the star under Leo), billy Bob Thornton, Terry O'Quinn (from Lost), Powers Boothe - jez and even more I can't think of off the top of my head........................
some kind of serious man candy movie for real!
The only casting person I did NOT like was the woman that they had star in it who's name escapes me...she was just ack to me..............
(or maybe I was just jealous!)
Definitely a rentable watch a ton of times movie classic western!
