Hepatitis C and psoriasis

I was wondering if anyone could give me some information about any links between hepatitis C and psoriasis. I was diagnosed with Hep C 2 years ago (genotype 1a) and have not had any treatment. I recently have been diagnosed with psoriasis. Does Hepatitis C cause psoriasis? Thanks

yes, psoriasis is a sx of hep C as well as the tx for hep C.  I have read some abstracts to the contrary but more studies that are in agreement.

I don't know for sure, but it is quite common that people with HCV also have some skin disorder.

It can approve if you eliminate the virus.

I am not a doc, just from reading lot of stuff and some own experience.

Both Hep C and psoriasis are associated with insulin resistance.
