Hepatitis C inquiry

This may sound paranoid.  However, I overcame years of IV drug use without having contracted Hep C or AIDS.  Thank God!!!  Many of my friends have Hep C.  Although I do not see most of them, I do have one good friend who is also clean and who does have Hep C.  Well, the other night I was baby sitting her grandchild at her house, and it was very late and I was very tired.  My mouth was icky, and without thinking I took a q-tip and swiped some toothpaste from her tube onto it to clean my mouth.  Afterward, I remembered that she was a carrier.  Do I need to worry?

HCV is a blood bourne disease, meaning that it is transferred through an exchange of blood.  One reason it has the IVDU stigma associated with it, although blood exchange of any form can transmit it.
