Thanks. It's been a while since I posted this stuff. My understanding was it has to be the 2 brands to be worth buying. The studies where done with the PPC.
But it sure would be nice if it was cheaper.
Vitacost sells Jarrow formulas Mega PC-35 (35% phosphatidylcholine) 120softgels for $9. Even regular lecithin granules are high in pc (3450mg) and even phosphatidylethanolamine (3000mg) per 2 tablespoons in the
the Fearn- i like Fearn the best-from Swanson and just $7.50 per pound. Mixes easily with everything from shakes to scrambled eggs. Fairly tasteless
PhosCol is the cheapest I have found. Betterlife.com says to phone for a price. I think it was $149 or $139 a bottle.

Product PhosChol Liquid Concentrate - Please call for special price
Brand Name PhosChol (NutraSal)
Item # PHC400
Size 16 Ounces
Then I asked the company how much is in a 16oz bottle.
Thank you for your inquiry.
The 8oz bottle of concentrate yields 48 teaspoons.
The 16oz bottle yields 96 teaspoons.
1 teaspoon of PhosChol Concentrate is 3000mg. The capsules are 900mg each.
If you have any additional questions, please feel free to reach out.
you are welcome.
You see in Germany even supplements for the most part are controlled and regulated
and you buy them in a pharmacy that stores them correctly.
You can not compare that with some discount vitamin outfit here in the US that is
unregulated and gets there raw materials cheap from China or god knows from where.
You are right though it is expensive just think Greenback vs. Euro dollar alone.
I buy certain other supplements and medications when I am over there and none
are cheap.
Thanks Bali thats an interesting trial, not too sure I can afford the PPC now though !
Someone's making serious money somewhere.
Here is the study that was done quite a while back
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/9684137
at the Heinrich Heine University in Dusseldorf , it is a big liver center and I had my first FibroScan there with the Chief Hepatologist Prof. Dr. Haeussinger.
thanks guys will take a look
You can buy Essentiale forte from other places doesn`t have to be Hep Tech
However when I last looked into it Hep Tech actually had the best price in the US.
I think that should answer your question.
PPC has been made in Germany by a pharmaceutical co. and has been used for
liver support for a long time. There even was a trial where PPC was combined
with SOC for Hep C. I showed the research paper to my hepatologist recently
and he confirmed the people behind the trial as good researchers in the field.
There is a company that imports PPC from Germany and sells it here in the US.
The product name is Hepatoshield and the co. is Hepatitis Technologies.
I personally bought some in Germany from my pharmacist since the co. that
makes it is in my old hometown.
In terms of price , well it is made by a reputable contolled pharm co. in Germany and not in India or China.......
It is called Essentiale 300 over there.
