Hi all,
Have been missing this forum like crazy, but have been overwhelmingly busy and find my eyes can only focus for a half hour or so, then I have to get off the site. Have been thinking about you all, want to say hello to Chev, Cuteus, Jim, Snook, NYhepc, Cquest, TNhepguy, mikesimon, miked, tallblonde, Giddy/whoa, maj, genedog, Rev and the rest of you. Lots of new names. I wish all of you the best. I do a bit of lurking/scanning every 4-5 days, but rarely get a chance to respond and be supportive. Am on week 43 of 48, (F 46yo, 1B, VL 650,000), and still hanging in. Miss you!

Sorry, I know I'm leaving out so many of you...brainfog, you know.

WOW...

I did not realize that you were so close to completing TX. Glad to hear that you will soon be able to put the Drug Regime behind you, along with the SX.

   GOD BLESS

PS. Hi Chev  :-)

Wow, you must be excited to be so far along, almost done now.
How you classify your sx? Have there been any that have been along for the whole ride, or does it just come and go?
I would be interested in knowing, I realize we are all different, but then there is also that common thread.

I keep thinking of more people ...Thanks tony & Chev.

lilmoma,
I have been very lucky. My sx have been minimal---good thing because I work ft and have a 4 yo. I get occasional leg pains, the blurry vision, dry mouth/eyes, appetite fluctuations, and lots of brainfog/ riba rage. Overall, though, it comes and goes and the severity has not gotten to the unmanageable poit. I can't recall where you are-- are you going to tx or have you started?

It is so great to see your name here and learn that you are real  close to finishing the torture we call TX. You sound like you're doing just as expected - TX is absolutely no fun but a good result will make it all worth while. And I just gotta believe you will have that result. Please keep us posted. I don't post much anymore but I do read so I'll be watching for you. All the best, Mike

Hey,,,Great to see your name here!  I can't believe that you are finally at the end and I'm so happy for you!  Seems like the tx at times is never ending but there is a light at the end of the tunnel! You are very fortunate to have minimal sides,,,,Best Wishes!

Thanks for the well-wishes everyone. I'm happy to get a few breaks today to hop on here--have to do it in 1/2 hour spurts.

nyhepc- I didn't wind up losing any power, I think you Warren/Saratoga people took the worst hit. That must have been a nightmare in this awful cold... especially with the way you've been feeling. I'll bet those bathroom trips were quick! LOL! Hope you find a resolution to your anemia situation so you can get through these next 10 weeks. (That is what you said, right?)Still going to Dr. P?

No open posts today so hijacking this one.  Sorry.

The rash/bumps on my hands are getting pretty bad.  Could be that PCT mentioned but I don't know.  Used to get similiar bumps pre-tx but always thought it was a schingles/herpes thing.

Hands are hurting pretty bad from the bumps.  No pus to speak of.  Crawling up arms.  Starting to cover top of feet and up legs.  Also on belly.  Hope there are some spots left for tonights Neup.

Use Gold Bond cream.  What else can I do?  Anyone else have it this bad?  Thanks.

How can it be possible that you've completed 43 weeks of treatment?  It seem like just yesterday that you started! Besides the vision problems, are you doing okay?  Any insights to offer about the experience so far?  I'm glad you're nearing the finish line and have managed to keep so busy throughout the journey.  I'm sure that has helped make it more tolerable.

Heck in a few short weeks, you'll be posting your 4-week post-tx PCR results.  Please let us know how things turn out.  Praying that you get a SVR for all your efforts.

Take care,
Susan

oops....I just read further down the thread and saw that you described in more detail how you've been doing (so don't worry about answering my question above).  All in all, it sounds like you've fared pretty well compared to what others have experienced.  That's a blessing.

by Hellchild, Feb 26, 2006 12:00AM
Hello. I just wanted to let ya all know that I got some good news. My test for Hep C came back negative. And that's cool, but I am still sad that my girlfriend has it, and still wonder if there is anyway that she can still infect me if the virus is so low in her system that it is undetectable, and I think that maybe her doc said she is just a "carrier". So although my test came back negative, I still have some questions and concerns. I was going to see if she could get some more detailed info when she sees her doctor again.
Thank you all for your time, advice, and support,
Hellchild
