High ALT & AST

I have been undergoing treatment for Hep C: Peg Interferon, Ribervarin and Biocipreviar.  Just cleared viral load to negative at 16 weeks.  ALT and AST shot up to the 300 range then 2 weeks later dropped to 150 range, this week up to 165 range.  Any reason why my liver enzymes are soo high.  The doc says that it happens sometimes.  He did a blood test to rule out autoimmune hepatitis.  They have had to adjust my thyroid meds.  my TSH was way off also (31)...so they are slowley coming back down.
