High SGPT and bilirubin values ,

Hi all,
I am in a big problem due to my elevated SGPT and bilirubin values.
My SGPT is 70  with Bilirubin 2.0

For the last two week i am taking fat free food ,avoiding sugar , juices , lot of water .
and medicine i am taking is silliver , livigone and liver-max.
also just stated the juice of sugar cane.
I also reduced my weight to 74 kg from 80 in last three weeks.

but still values are not coming down doctor told me that it will take 3 to 6 month to get the normal values.
My question is how can i lower down these values as early as possible.
I have my medical in next week for saudi.
Please some one help me.

Yes, really, that is a question only a doctor can answer. As I mentioned, there are many, many, many causes for elevated enzymes.

See a doctor at your earliest convenience.

You need to see a doctor.  it sounds as though you are diagnosing and treating

yourself.

No all my Hepatitis C and hepatitis B are negative .
How can i exactly know the cause of elevation of SGPT and Bilirubin.
Keep in mind that my SGOT value is normal i.e 34.

Do you have Hepatitis C?

Elevated liver enzymes, and other indicators of liver functions, such as bilirubin, can change or be elevated for numerous reasons, from an infection, to some blocked ductwork and everything in between.

The goal should not be to lower the values per se, but to find out WHY they aren't normal to begin with. If the underlying cause can be addressed, the levels should return to normal I would think.
