Got my 7 week PCR result back:

Praise God.

Now, my ANC is at .26, so I have to concentrate my efforts on getting so numbers up before an infection causes me to "burn up on re-entry".

For someone who believes in supplements, gauf...check this out.  I will be doing likewise for myself to try and get my own white counts up in any way I can.  I don't know if it raises white counts or substitutes for your body's ability to fight in the absence of white blood cell components, I'll take it either way.

Looking good just talked to another geno 3 today hes on week19 started with baseline vl 75000iuml
week 5 vl 60iuml week 12 < 15iuml but still detecteable. the docs are babbling about letting him extend to 36 weeks Itold him make that 48weeks.
On your next psr try to get a more sensitiv test.
Still looking very promising no enemys in sight  enjoy the free sight but stay prepared.

Way to go gauf! Looks like you're on your way. A successful lunar landing is successfully completing treatment - returning home with a safe splashdown is when you SVR. Just do your best to keep all the numbers lined up and let modern science do the rest. Pullin' for ya dude!

FYI -
If you are really worried about the possibility of infection. Standard protocol at the UCSF Liver Transplant Center (were I was treated) is to put all cirrhotics undergoing HCV treatment on a prophylactic dose of antibiotics, Cipro 750 mg once per week. Their reading of the data indicates that there actually is a poor correlation between WBC and infections.
