How To Choose Best Answer

I keep getting messages from MedHelp asked me to choose a best answer from the questions I've asked.  That is goung to be real tough, because I've received so many wonderful, knowledgeable answers from people.  I'll have to throw the dice.

So, I do I choose a best answer?

Bill is so outstanding and special I can't begin to tell you how much he has meant to me thoughout my 13 weeks of tx and beyond.  There are a number of members that mean so much to me.  Each has their own special gift in helping others or just putting a special twist on a topic.  These members, old timers mostly,  make this such a special support site.

Susan is certainly correct regarding Bill. I can't tell you the countless times he has helped me personally and how much knowledge he has. He puts an enormous amount of time into helping all of us and treats everyone with respect.

Agree with Dave. It's unnecessary and a feature that's prone to misuse. There are 'note' and 'private message' functions that are more appropriate and meaningful.

Sometimes, though, an answer will come along (usually frrom best Bill) that is so outstanding, and generous in spirit that special recognition is nice. :)

I found the whole best answer thing kinda weird when I joined, I never choose one for the same reasons you mentioned. I rather personally thank someone for helping me with a comment then a star.
