How long can side effects last?

Incivek, Peg, Riba----My daughter was UND at 4 & 12 weeks. She will be tested again Oct. 8, then 6 months later. Is there a thread on here or a website that can tell us how long the meds stay in the body ? She is looking forward to feeling better. Thank so much.

I started to feel better fairly quickly, not 100% but anything is btter than how I felt on treatment. It does take some time; I heard the same thing that Dee posted, actually from a pegasyst nurse. Good luck to your daughter.

Hello she will start to feel better, it does take a while however she will start to feel a little better every day.

From what I was told it takes about 3 months for the Inf to slowly leave the body and it is 6 months for the riba

I could tell a difference just a few weeks after finishing however it did take some time.  I am now 7 months post and I feel so good now.  I am happy that I treated.  I am sure other will join in soon

Good luck
Dee

Has she finished treatment ?
Normally after treatment people begin to feel better after they stop the meds.
My hepatologist said most people feel the side effects are all gone by 3 months post treatment.

What she can do to help feel better is continue to drink water, exercise, eat well and be patient.
