My wife has hepatitis C since 2005. now she has permanent headche. She is not imporving as she is tacking treatment permanently. From where we should consult? and get treatment? what are the side effects of Hepatitis C? Please reply.
A headache is NOT a symptom of hepatitis C. Something else is wrong.
Please have your wife see a general doctor so she can find out what is causing her headaches. I hope it is something that can be taken care of easily. Try to go to the largest hospital in your area. Perhaps the Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Centre.
Her hepatitis C is very new. It will take many, many years for the hepatitis C virus to seriously harm her liver. Maybe 20 - 40 years. Each person is different. By then there should be treatments that are inexpensive and easily available that she can treat with.
JPMC is arguably Pakistan's largest hospital. It has a large number of wards and the doctors are proficient. They have many OUTPATIENT CLINICS too.
