I am HCV negative?

So I'm an addict in recovery.  I shared a needle about 2 years ago and since then I led myself to believe that I was definitely HIV/HCV positive.  I never had a blood test done I was just too scared to deal with it.  But now being clean I finally had a test done last week.  To my shock both came back negative.  But my question, my hep C test said NEGATIVE but showed I had .11 antibodies? I hope i'm explaining this correctly I'm just still in disbelief and wondering what that's all about.

thanks in advance!

The antibodies just means that you were exposed to HepC but for one reason or another you didn't actually get HepC.  That means, you will always test positive for antibodies.  You lucked out dude.  Count your blessings.
