I am not the milk man

February 3rd 2015 I used my hands to play with the nipples of a black pregnant "working" gal (she was two months into her pregnancy).

I have the habit of picking and biting at my fingers / hangnail. Sometimes I cause my fingers to bleed.

At the time of my encounter I had several of these little cuts/hangnails. None were bleeding at the time of the encounter.(I dont think) The skin was slightly tore away from thumb nail. All I did was rub / pinch her nipples. We did nothing else. I did not see or feel any breast fluid or milk on my fingers, I don't think!!!

Several minutes afterwards I checked these hang nails. I pushed and poked at them. No liquid came out. I also rubbed my hang nails with a white towel to check for blood. No blood came out.

My symptoms have been folliculitis, alopecia aretna and a black mark / mole that scratched off. I have become the dermatologists best friend. He has diagnosed all this stuff. I also have a little sore on my uvula (thing that hangs at the back of your throat) My dentist is monitoring this. Week 7 I had a bit of thrush on my checks . I have had a little thrush on cheeks on and off from week 7 and 8.

My testing is as follows:

Orasure rapid hep c test at 91 days post risk. Negative.

My questions:

1. Did I have a risk for hep c?

3. What if a finger was bleeding and breast milk touched it, would there be a risk?

4. If their was a healing wound and breast milk touched it, would there be a risk?

5. Do I need more testing?

I am scared!!!

Your question is can you get HCV from touching a pregnant black women's nipples whom is a working girl.

You should have asked before the encounter.
No you can't get HCV from breast milk even if you swim in it.

You can get a bunch of STD's though by the life you are currently living.

First, Lynn has said it all - and succintly!

Second,  what does the lady's color have to do with your question?  I really don't require an answer to this question - just pointing out that race/color has NOTHING to do with this.

Third,  I suggest you be careful in ALL your relationships, because, While HepC is not something you can get from body fluids other than blood, there are STDs and other diseases which can be transmitted that way.

Care in ALL sexual behaviors protects both partners.

Please keep that in mind and be careful and always use barrier protection.

ONLY in long term, committed, exclusive relationships do doctors say that protection is not necessary against hepc.  I expect the same is rue of all other diseases IF both partners go into the relationship with no diseases.
