I need some help

last year i was told i had been boderline positive with c they used the elias method is this acurate they took more blood but only to check for viral load and not to confirm what the first test said is it possable that this first one may have been false i read where this elias can give numerous false posatives.anyhow viral load was zero. i went again to have it redun but they only orderd a quantive test and not to check to see if it was in me i wanted a recheck cuz of the possability the first may have been wrong anyone help please.and also my dr is so non cealant about it like dont worry takes 20-30 years to have troubles just keep coming back every 6 months for blood well what good is that im lost please i need some suggestions as what to do here thank you
