IL28 b results

Well I just got back my results and I'm a CT, not what I was hoping for but it's better than a TT.

Hi  Robert,

So you are a CT. Congratulations now you know your IL28b.
How does this effect what you were planning to do about your
GT4 HCV ?

Yeah it isn't great, but like a bx and getting a not so great a staging, at least you know where you stand and can make the most out of the next tx - making it count for you personally. I remember the sinking feeling I had with the stage 4, but at least it made us aware of what NOT to do and explore options that would increase my likelihood of SVR. It's good to finally have options over the cookie cutter approach used for so many years.

Yeah, sometimes being "average" ain't great, but it isn't bad either. It's all a matter of perspective.

Good luck.
