IL28B Testing for 3a - 4 week detected

Thanks to some excellent advice I received from rk2761 and Dannyboi7, I asked my doctor if I could have this test performed since my virus was detected at 4 weeks.  I am currently on 150 mcg Pegintron 2b and 1200 ml ribavirin and completed my 4 week viral load test just over two weeks ago.   VL started at 4,210,000 mL and 4 week VL was 968 mL.
My doctor contacted me today and indicated they don't normally test 3a patients, however, he reviewed an Australian study and will order this test for me.
Thank you to everyone who so graciously offers support and suggestions.  I don't know what I would do without your personal experience to guide my way!

Keep in mind that even if you test TT, you still have almost a one in three chance of clearing the virus with 24 weeks tx. People have txd much longer with much worse odds, so unless your sx are totally unbearable, you might want to give it a shot.
