If the CPR is negative, am I sick or not?

If the CPR is negative, am I sick or not?

Hello,
About two months ago I gave blood and during the screening of the unit I gave they found HEP C antibodies in my blood which of course suggested I might be sick.
I did a ton of blood tests including Liver Functions which came back normal and most importantly the CPR test which came back negative.
Does this mean that I'm one of those 20-30 percent who beat it on their own and that I'm not sick and won't be either?
Is there still risk of me infecting my girlfriend or anything like that or can I just forget about it and continue living my life?
Somebody told me that if I get sick like with a cold or something that the hepatitis might come back.
Is that true? Doesn't seem very logical to me but of course I'm not a doctor and that's why I'm here :)

Thanks a lot for the help.

I forgot to mention that this was the first time I gave blood or had any blood test for hepatitis and that my parents suspect I may have been infected while being sick with pnemonia (pneumonia) at the age of one year and seven months and received a blood donation back in the Ukraine.
I am now 20 years old.

Thanks again.

From the information you have provided, you cleared during the acute stage.
It's over ,forget about it.
The person who told you it may come back  if you catch a cold is talking garbage.

Thanks a lot!
Oh and could I pass the antibodies down to my girlfriend which will force her to also go through blood tests due to suspicion of being infected?

No,antibodies are released in response to infection not the presence of other antibodies.

Yeah I meant if my antibodies would show up in her blood test and flag her as possibly being infected even though she isn't.

Thanks!
