I'm back

Hey gang -- it's been a long time!  I just wanted to let you know that I'm still CLEAR... I am 1a bx stage 1 drugs used pegasys and combo for a year.  It's been a year last april.  I feel like it has been a long time coming off the drugs.  I have osteoporosis and have to take Actonel once a week.  The drugs did a lot of damage to my bones  but maybe this drug will help reverse it.  I feel like I've aged a lot since taking the Hep c drugs for a year.   But atleast I'm clear... I still have depression a lot and I'm still on Wellbruten xl -- Effexor works  better but bad with the sex drive... Hubby was not happy with me.  Anyway, I am very happy to be free and hoping all you guys are hanging in and coping with the drugs.  It does get better.  I am one of the lucky ones...I hope you all have a happiest Thanksgiving ever.  Lori

That is the kind of news that I like to hear. CONGRATULATIONS
I have been off of the pegasys/copegus combo drugs for almost 3 weeks now after 2 tries. First time for 48 weeks and this past time for 72. I hope a year from now I will be able to report the same news as you.

I know it takes a while to feel better and I know that I will have some permanate damage also but mentally how long before you started to feel the fog lift? What about your energy level?Bone pain, is it still in all your bones and only in certain areas? Good Luck to you and thanks for sharing your great news.

I started feeling better about 3 - 4 weeks after tx.  Now I have great energy and love for my family.  I think loosing all that weight (20lbs) in one year and than gaining it back 8 months later doesn't help your system.  Also I'm able to run with my four children now 12, 10, 8 and 6 years old.  By the way, they are all cleared of Hep C too.  Thank God.  I have a lot to be grateful for.  This forum Medhelp has always been a godsent -- keep the faith.  Lori
