Incivek, ribavirin and Pegasys

I have been taking incivek at the same time as the ribavirin and shots on fridays. I, mostly take the pills while I'm eating but always make sure that I have the food or snack with the fat before I swallow the pills. On my week 4, the hcv was undetected, so I will check it again at week 12. I am a 'relapser' after 1 1/2 year before completing the interferon and riba only treatment. My genotype 1.

Great news these drugs really work. I to am like yourself 13 weeks and i'm UND. We have a little longer trip 48 weeks total. It's all good as long as we beat the the hep C. Good luck

Thanks! Yes, my doctor ordered another for week 12, I have already had my blood taken so by the end of next week I should have the results.It's been 3 days since I finished the Incivek but the itching still going and strong. Wow!
I will keep you all posted in how many more days this side effects lasts.

Congrats on the week 4 results, I would have your Dr do another at wk 8, that is the protocol. My Dr did PCR at week 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24.What is the reasoning for not doing more testing? Best of luck - Fred

Congrats on the 4 week Und. That is an excellent predictor of success for previous relapsers and usually results in just 24 weeks of total treatment..
