Incivek

Hello, I am from Ukraine. We have not Telaprevir registered in our country yet, so I do want to know what is price of Incivek in the USA? I mean the price in the drugstore.
Please help me with this information

Hi Helen
The price of Incivek is very expensive in North America. Also it is always taken in conjunction with the other two drugs (Peg- Interferon and Ribaviran ) so the entire treatment that can last from 24 to 48 weeks cost many tens of thousands of dollars.
Is your question because your doctor is trying to obtain Incivek for you?

Possibly tell us a little bit about yourself..Do you have HCV and if so do you know what Geno type it is? Have you treated before? Do you know the amount of Liver damage (fibrosis ) you have?

Tela is now called Incivek in N.A and I believe Incivo in Europe.

I believe that 24 weeks of my treatment is going to cost around $44,000 or so, but I'm not positive.
