Injection Site

I took my first shot Wed afternoon. Had no reaction until last night, the area is red. Then this morn [Sat], I noticed while showering, the entire lower left area is swollen- really swollen, I did the injection on left side below the naval. i have no pain. Is this something I need to call the Doc about??

they are kinda like hickeys now that i think about it!...I also get red marks that turn to purple. I did shot 4 last night, and they usually turn color by mon.tues. I asked my dr. because the first shot was really red and kinda warm. he said to make sure there were no red streaks running out from it. so far so good. the first shot mark hasn't really gone away yet either. just one more thing to live with during treatment. hope this helps, and blessings to you!

Welcome to the club, sounds like you got your first badge of honor..The 2" diameter interferon hickey (lol)...I never have 3 at a time only 2 (g), they show up on tuesday like clockwork (I do my shot on Thur.)..
