My suggestion is you try not to take sleep aids every single night. When you don't have a lot going on the next day try to go without and nap during the day if needed. Taking them nightly can cause there own sx and they work better if not used every night. LL
I take 1/2 a Lexapro (an anti depressant) every day while on treatment. At night if I can't sleep, I take another half. It's been great for me--no hangover.

If your not sleeping you need to ask your Dr for something that will help you sleep. The most common Sleeping meds are Sonata, Ambian, restirel <sp>, Xanax and Lunista. I found that a drug called trazodone worked well.

anyone knows where Chevy went?
I hope she does not own a motorcycle.
Maybe this is known but I don't know, are you on treatment for hep? thanks.
Benadryl will make you drowsy and help you sleep, but it will also DRY you out. With the meds we are on, we already are dry enough. I found this out when i had a rash develop, and Dr ordered me to take 50mg of Benadryl every 3-4 hours. It made me incredibly tired, but sooooo thirsty that at night, the corners of my mouth would crack.
My dr. gave me Xanax for anxiety it helps me sleep. Also he said I could take 2 benadryl if I couldn't sleep. I think the benadryl is the same thing in Tylenol PM.

Try a natural supplement called melatonin. You can find it anywhere vitamins are sold, and it will help you sleep. It is made from the chemical that your brain produces to stimulate you to go to sleep. Check it out.
If it gets serious, talk to your Doc.
