I don't get too many chances to get online with 2 busy children, but I am so drawn to this website to learn all I can about this disease from everyone's entries; Thanks!

I don't think that MOST people have trouble with insurance.  You will want to check and make sure that injectables are covered under your policy and if you have an aditional co-pay for them or not.  Some policies also have a yearly cap on benefits, so you may want to check that out, too.  Good luck and welcome to the board!

Hi everyone! I'm new here and also have been dx w/HCV.  Do many experience difficulties with insurance companies with tx? Especially with the cost of the drugs? I am totally lost.

Call your Dr and they will do all the paperwork. Same thing happened to me when I first started tx. No problem whatsoever.

shouldn't you be asking them that question? the dr is going to have to contact them anyway for payment and med refill approval.
