Insurance question

My doctor has stopped my peg/riba therapy after 72 weeks because I can physically no longer take it. (Not because it has been 72 weeks)  I was UND on my last VL but 700, 000 on the one a month before.  The one before that was UND but became ill and had to stop for a month.  Given this do you think I should accept the meds that the pharmacy will soon be calling about to sort of "stock-pile"?  They have considerable co-pays but of course not like the full price.  My fear is that the insurance company will become a problem if my doctor decides to start treatment again.  Time could become a factor.  Any thoughts?

The expiration dates on the few things I have extend a couple of years so anything I get next month should be ok for a very long time.  (unless the company sends old stuff)

I've stockpiled it before. But I can't say that it is a good idea. My co pay is cheap and I really didn't know if I'd use it again. I did so it was a good thing, but was it the right thing I can't answer for you.

your virus finally responded after all those weeks?  it is too bad the tx is so debilitating for some and can not continue to beat the darn thing to death.  Maybe you can switch to an ongoing trial somewhere?  check clinicaltrials.gov for possibilities.  I just got an email from the NIH on a study I inquired about a couple of days ago.  It might be worth a try.  I hope you feel better

Thank you for your response.  I think I will just take a break for now.  I am post transplant and because of that I don't think their are ant trials I would qualify for.  I will look at the site just the same.
