Insurance

by HakunaMatata, Apr 14, 2003 12:00AM
Has anyone out there had any experience trying to get insurance with a pre-existing condition (HCV)? I am on COBRA, but that will run out a couple of months before tx ends. Also, if you take a job with a company that includes med ins in its benefits, do they have to provide insurance to you? Do you have to disclose to the potential employer that you have a pre-existing med condition?

I currently work for myself and prefer it that way, but may give working for someone else some consideration if the costs get too out of hand (and I'm still able to work).

Thanks. Keep the faith!
