It worked!

I have achieved SVR!!! 6 months post TX. I was a 2B with a 1.5 million VL Liver biopsy was stage 0 mild inflammation. 6 months post TX

I have mostly been a lurker here due to the fact that I was so fatigued, in pain , depressed and just miserable during TX.  Also there are so many here with so much knowledge that I mostly sat back and read. However this post is the ones I loved to read during TX, they were my inspiration to take one more pill, one more shot and one more day of TX. If you had asked me during TX if it was worth it, I would have said HELL NO... ask me now I say HELL YES..

I am feeling pretty good, still some fatigue and a few, but mild so far lingering sides ( I will see how I respond to the cold weather )but am now 95% back to normal.

I pray you all will follow in my footsteps, as I have in the ones before me. I will continue to lurk here add anything of value that I can.

God Bless you all as he has me.

You are a sweetie for letting us know...tell him I said "hello"...and I am going to email him soon....and he certainly can take his time answering me...heck...I am just glad he has you to check in on him ....  :>)
You are a true friend.

Chevy - glad to hear you did clear was worried.  You will do just fine on your 3 mo check.  Keep the faith!  I will watch for your post.

Britgirl,
Yes it is common in the states to get the 2 yr check.  I don't think I have to get one until 5 yrs and that will be my option.  I will due to life insurance.  As long as I stay working I'm covered and will have a little once I retired which I don't think will be enough.  So I'll have to get the 5 yr check to be able to get life insurance, that is what I understand.

Oh Chevy how is Indy doing?  I did email but haven't heard anything, but that was right after his post.  I believe Liz heard from him last week, waiting for an email from her.

Best to everyone and I will still lurk on the board.  You all know so much and support each other so well.
Take care everyone.

Congrtaulations on your SVR, ccgirl!

cc2 - Nice to see your name again and gald you are doing well. I was surprised to see that you's had a two year post-tx PCR done. Is that standard in the States or was there a special reason? I just ask 'cos here they don't do them after the first year, saying you are cured and that it would be impossible for the virus to come back.

CC girl,
Congradulations - way to go - you are on your way back. Hurray.

Chevy - I still linger here and I don't read the post everyday but I thought you were finished tx and were cleared.  Are you waiting for your 6 mo check.  I sure pray that's it.  Best to you.

Got my 2 year results and I am still SVR.  test show <10 IU/ml so I was very happy :)  There is so many new people here and I pray for all of you for success and a tx that will cure all.  For those who do not know me I was 2b with over mil viral load.  Stage 2, inflamation grade 2-3 and had this dragon over 30 yrs.  I did 23 wks of tx and only 3wks of full dose the rest was half and 3/4 dosage.  Sick as a dog and blood count very low, thought I would not make it.  But my prayers were answer and most of all he lead me to this wonderful forum right before I started tx.  All of you keep supporting each other even through the riba rage times.  I wish you all success!
God Bless,
Carol
