Itching and Insomnia

by Emmasmudge, Jul 03, 2000 12:00AM
At this time I am on Combination Therapy (Interferon/Ribivirin) for 48 weeks.  I've been on this for 10 weeks now and am doing better than most on this medication.  I am experiencing itching and insomnia.  The itching just started in the 8th week.  The Insomnia has been there from the day I started medication.  My doctor put me on Oxazepam (as needed) for insomnia.  Is this relatively safe for me.  I have very low viral count and very minimal damage present on biopsy.  Is there anything I can do to stop the Itching?  Thank you
