It's official SVR!!!!!!!

Finally!  I just got the call on my 6 month PCR. I am undetectable. She said, "oh, I have good news, your labs are good, you no longer have Hepatitis C, you are cured.  She used the cure word ;)
I felt pretty relieved when I got the ALT back at 19 first, but I was still nervous until I got the viral count back.
So thanks so much guys for all you help, I don't think I could have made it through without you. Well, it would have been tough!

Thanks everyone!  It's really hard to get my head around not having HCV after living with it for so long.
For those who don't know me, I treated for 48 weeks with Peg/Riba only.  I was geno 1.

We joke around about having a drink, but I have stayed away from alcohol for so long, I don't think I will celebrate that way. But it is nice to think that now I can enjoy a nice wine beyond a sip to taste.
You know what else?  When I was on my profile page I realized I joined this forum on Sep 23 2009!  It has been a year and this time around, what a difference a year makes.
I hope and pray that all you who are still in treatment have great success and do not suffer so much with the sides.  Hang in there, it will be over one day and you can get on with your life. I feel really good physically and I really think that I have more energy and feel better than before I treated. I never thought I felt any effects from the virus before.  But now I realize that I was just used to it and that was my normal. Being a little tired all the time isn't my normal anymore!  :D
So know that for me, I treated and was successful and with no lingering side effects.  I am living proof!
