Jaundice

I have a question.  Before/during tax, does anyone experience the jaundice associated with HCV?  If so, how long does this last?  I do not recall anyone talking about this symptom.

I had jaundice with acute hepatitis, long ago, and it lasted as long as the active attack (I looked like a jack-o-lantern).  Normal bili means that you are clearing it just fine and should not expect to see juandice at all.

I was just wondering whether or not the jaundice is persistant when the disease progresses.  Sounds like it would be an issue when the liver become damaged severely.  Thank you for the information.

Jaundice is a build up of a pigment called bilirubin.
Look at your liver function tests-if your bilirubin is normal you don't have jaundice.
The yellow is first visible round the lower rim of the eyeball.
Jaundice in Hep C usually occurs either in the acute stage (but usually not) or with advanced liver disease.
Why do you think you are jaundiced-are you looking yellow?
