Joint pain

Hi everyone.  It's been a few years since I checked in here.  My doc told me I had End Stage Liver Disease 6 or 7 years ago.  He also told me that ESLD doesn't necessarily mean a shortened lifespan.    I've mostly been having a pretty good time living, rather than waiting to die.  However, the joint pain is back and it's driving me into the ground.  Pretty much all of the joints hurt to some extent, and I get worn out really easily.  Has anything new come out for this?  I was taking Etodolac for several years, but about 6 months ago with my doctors approval I weaned myself off of all of my meds because of side-effects (shakiness, balance problems, etc)  and have been gradually adding back those that are really necessary.  I think I need to add back the pain med, but would rather not take the Edotolac.  Is anyone else having good results with another med so I can suggest it to my doc?
Thanks,
haydenx7
