Just get my 12 weeks SVR, and take one vacation

I take a vacation when I feel better after 12 weeks negative EOT (RNA-PCR). The country was Egypt because it was hot there now, and had only time to one week, so Thailand, Mexico the US was too far away for one week.
But later I read that Egypt have most of the infected person at hep C at the hole world. It was mosquitoes there, and I get bit in the night several times.
Do you believe that mosquitoes can transfer hep C virus. I am little afraid then 12 weeks RNA-PCR is SVR in Norway,
with 98 % to be clear of the virus forever.
Somebody who knows that?  I think at this every day, and my next and last RNA-PCR is week 48 after EOT.
Please help me...can  mosquitoes transfer hep C ?

No, they don't transfer hep C.

I lived in Indonesia for 20 years, my whole family would have gotten hep c from being bitten by the same mosquitoes.

No I think if we could get that many diseases this way we'd all have them all...........

Glad you got a vacation in though - next time find a place without the mosquitos but dont' come to middle America during May too many damn tornadoes ripping up the place, they scare me more than mosquitos!

No there's no way you can catch it from mosquitoes. I guess they inject saliva and not blood. Think about how many people would catch HIV and Hep C if this were possible.
