Just started treatment--Depression

by samcat, Jun 16, 2003 12:00AM
Hi everyone, I am 21 years old, with genotype 1, and just did my 3rd injection of pepegasys last night.  So far, besides an occasional fever and joint pains, my main complaint as far as side effects has been extreme fatigue.  I have difficulty doing much of anything without getting exhausted.  Sometimes I get dizzy just walking around the park or at the market.

I have been depressed a few times so far, but today was real bad.  I didn't feel like doing anything, but I was so bored, I didn't really want to be awake, I just wanted to sleep until my 48 weeks are up.  I'm not sure if the depression is caused by the pegasys and ribiviron or if its just due to apathy, and inactivity, maybe both.

I don't want to take anti-depressants if they aren't necessary.  What's everyone elses experience?

Also, for the first time, I'm getting sinus headaches!  Is there a connection?

One more thing, if I stay hydrated, I will have to pee at least once every hour!  Is this normal?
