Kidney Stones.....

Hello,  Sorry to bother you all again.  My husband was scheduled to see the GI spec for the first time tomorrow. (Hep C positive, viral load 2.7 million and elevated ALT/AST)  Unfortunatley he has been in and out of ER all weekened for what they think is Kidney Stones.  At first they said lots of blood in urine but CT show no stones so they were going to admit.  Then they come in and say they found a 3mm kidney stone, gave him a ton of meds and said to follow up with PC.  But they also said he is developing an ileus which is some sort blockage or something and his liver felt enlarged and stiff (we go for Ultra Sound on Nov 19th.

I am so confused and tired.  Here my big strong husband, 44 years old, 210 6''2" and never sick is now in and out of the hospital and curled up in bed.

I have no right and I feel really guilty for alternating between mad and depressed.  We have two boys 15 and 12 and he wont let me tell anyone about what is going on.  No one by me and his Dr.'s no he has Hep C, and now all these other problems keep coming up.

You guys are the only ones I have to talk to...........and while I appreciate having this a "real time" hug and support would be incredible, but again, cant tell anyone.....

Thanks, I have scheduled for the Weds with urologists and Thurs for the GI Dr.

I just dont know how much long I can handle all this.  It seems like I am always waiting for whats going to happen next......and it does.

I hate that I constantly worry about him.  If he is out in the garage or yard alone for more than 30 mins I am out there making sure he is oka.

I know I am such a whiner, but geez........if I cant handle this part, how am I going to handle the treatment.

thanks,
Kara
